Tallmadge Christian Preschool opened it's doors in 1995 with a handful of students and has now grown to offering classes for over one hundred young children from ages 2 1/2 through Pre-Kindergarten ages. The preschool operates as a self-supporting, non-profit agency of Tallmadge Lutheran Church.

Class Schedule is as follows:

• One 2 1/2 year old class - Mon and Wed from 9:00-11:00 AM
• One 3 year old class - Tue and Thu from 9:00-11:30 AM
• One 3 year old class - Tue and Thu from 12:00-2:30 PM
• Two 4 year old classes - Mon, Wed, and Fri from 9:00-11:30 AM
• One 4 year old class - Mon, Wed, and Fri from 12:00-2:30 PM
• One Pre-K class - Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu and Fri from 12:00-2:30 PM

The goals of Tallmadge Christian Preschool are: 1) To provide opportunities for Christian learning of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior through Bible stories, Chapel Time, and informal living and learning experiences. 2) To provide opportunities and activities to help the children have a self-concept which includes accepting themselves, their limitations and the talents God has given them. 3) To provide experiences and activities which will fulfill the child's basic individual needs: spiritual, emotional, intellectual and physical. 4) To provide guidance as the child becomes less self-centered and begins to take part in small and large group activities.
